Attention all Hellcats fanatics:

TWIST has sad news for you--Hellcats has been canceled! Unfortunately, there's going to be a bit of a shake-up in the CW line-up next season and Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka's show has failed to make the cut. Major bummer! Sources say the lack of ratings and buzz is the reason behind its dismissal. We don't know about you, but we're sure going to miss that extra spunk and pep it brought to our Wednesday nights! On a brighter note though, One Tree Hill has thankfully received the go-ahead from producers and execs. At least we can count on the good ol' cast of Tree Hill to bring back some joy (and a whole lot of drama) into our weeknight T.V. schedule! And don't forget to tune in TONIGHT for your last chance to catch the Hellcats in all their cheering glory during the series finale!

Hey Twisters!

Look out High School Musical fans--Sharpay is back and better than ever! As TWIST previously reported, Ashley Tisdale is reprising her role as the over-the-top Sharpay Evans in her own movie, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Ashley recently spilled on why she felt the need to bring her HSM character back for another spin. "The reason why I wanted to do the movie was because I felt that High School Musical 3 was...there really wasn't a complete end with my character," Ashley shared. "She was kinda left behind at the school because she was supposed to be an assistant to Mrs. Darbus and I just felt like she needed to get something." I can't wait to see what's in store for Sharpay when the movie comes out this spring!

Hey Twist girls,

Can't get enough of High School Musical diva Sharpay? Well now you can see more of her crazy antics as she breaks away from the HSM gang in the upcoming TV movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure! The Disney Channel Original Movie will follow Ashley Tisdale's character Sharpay as she travels to New York to go after her dream of being on Broadway. Her big break comes when a talent scout spots her and her dog performing at a charity gala. However, she quickly realizes that making it is a lot tougher than she thought, especially when an intimidating Broadway star plans to stand in the way of her big dream. Sounds like an exciting adventure! Check out the trailer above and let me know what you think!

In honor of the Hellcats premiere last night, lets do an Ashley versus Aly style battle! It's actually been a little chilly lately and both stars were seen out in cute fall outfits. Ashley paired together a cute floral top, tan jacket and jeggings while Aly opted for an all black outfit topped off with an olive-green ruffle jacket. Both are so cute!

Did you watch the Hellcats premiere last night? The episode got me wondering what the cheerleaders were like in your schools. Are they super girlie like Savannah or more edgy like Marti? In the show, Marti, played by Aly Michalka, fears all hope is lost when her scholarship is cancelled. She discovers that the cheerleading squad is offering a scholarship. Marti swallows her pride and tries out for the team. She faces conflict with the with team leader Savannah, played by Ashley Tisdale.
